Sorry for the delay guys! I had a bad art block from school but here's my redesigned fire starter!4. Pyrem ~ Fire (Pyro + Trithemis)
Species: Flame Bug Pokemon
Ability: Blaze, Speed Boost (hidden)
Location: (Super Rare) Heatstream Mountain
Description: "It ignites its wings to move at an incredible rate. However, its cocky and reckless attitude often gets it into trouble."

5. Zepyre ~ Fire/Bug (Zephyr + Pyro)
Species: Superspeed Pokemon
Ability: Blaze, Speed Boost (hidden)
Location: (Evolve from Pyrem)
Description: "To satisfy its need for speed, it seeks the thrills by getting into dangerous situations."

6. Dynasect ~ Fire/Bug (Dynamic/Dynamite + Insect)
Species: Jetspeed Pokemon
Ability: Blaze, Speed Boost (hidden)
Location: (Evolve from Zepyre)
Description: "By harnessing the fire in its wings, it can move at a blazing speed that is faster than sound."

Idea: I based this line on Trithemis dragonflies, racers, and jets because they're all cool. In addition, I was also inspired by Iron Man.

Power - 80
Accuracy - 100
PP - 5
Type - Fire
Category - Physical
Priority - 2+
The user boosts at a blazing speed that may leave the foe with a burn. This move always goes first.

Do you mainly mess with the saturation? If not will PS elements 9 do?

I adjust vibrance more than saturation because the scanner usually eats the color of the drawings. And yes, I'm pretty sure PS elements 9 will do.

first stage to second stage doesnt change enough, and i cant really see this as starter material, but damn i love this design

I like the way you did the wings on the final evolution. Though I think the eyes on it should stand out more, (the current helmet look on the face is ok, but it sort of looks abit too different from the other two stages right now).

Thanks for the constructive criticism! I'll try to keep that in mind next time I do eyes for future fakemon lines but I'm quite satisfied with this line already.
I know the helmet might look a bit odd but if you look at the first two stages, their head shapes are based on motorcycle helmets. In addition, the new generation starter pokemon like chesnaught and samurott look different from their middle stages. (Yeah, middle-stages tend to....look a bit off if you play the games)

I hope this doesn't come off as rude, bacause it's not meant to, but I really feel like there's too big of a difference between Zepyre and Dynasect. I think Dynasect looks really cool, and I love the poses you've done on the reference sheet, but I think it looks way too "mechanitized" if you understand. I think it would work as a Mega evolution of a "regular" Dynasect, but I just think the difference between the two is too big..
Other than that, I love this line, and I think it's super cool that you're doing a fire/bug starter line. And I do really hope that I didn't come of as rude, because it really wasn't my intention

I really appreciate your constructive criticism and I understand that the last stage looks mecha-like to you. But to me, I quite satisfied with it since the last stage is supposed to be mecha-like since it was inspired by ironman and robocop.
I don't really see where "the difference is too big" since, for example, the chespin line. Quilladin to Chesnaught look way more far off (Chesnaught looks very detailed compared to older gen starter pokemon) than this line but the chespin line still looks great.

True with your examples. When I'm looking at it now, it, to me, looks a bit more like them now. I think when I first saw it, it reminded me so much of iron man, and the other two didn't, so I think that's where the criticism comes from.
Also on the reference sheet, the pose where it is seen from the front and back, is definetly my favorites. Also, I think it's really cool that you're posting your reference sheets, so that we get to see your Fakemon from other angles, and if there's something special about them (the wings on Dynasect etc.) you're showing that off too!
