I just did a few slight changes on him like removing the flame on his wing and giving it a red highlight C:

4. Ravery ~ Fire (Raven+bravery, bravery because of the fact that they are sort of like daredevils and how they mock bigger pokemon)
Species: Raven Pokemon
Ability: Blaze
Availability: Super rare
Description: They are known for their high intelligence and clever tactics. They will also mock larger pokemon by hopping around and by pecking at their tails or backs to get what they want.
Location: Ebony Island (starter islands that I will talk about soon)

Concept/design:
This guy matches the contest requirements of a hopping fire type pokemon because ravens do hop. You can also check out this video here to get what I mean: [link]
Most ravens also do the two step hop when they are near a carcass and they do this because they have to make sure the carcass is dead and safe. Since Ravery is only a fire type, he can only flap a few times so this means that he hops is way around. Other than that, I originally based Ravery on the the story of the raven that stole the sun. I also watched a nature video about ravens a long time ago and it was very fascinating. And as for the design changes, I changed the eye color into blue to contrast it from the body and I took the flame away from the wing and replaced it with red highlights instead. Why will it be fire/flying and not dark?
Well that's because I wanted him to be based on the story of the raven who stole the sun. I also didn't want to show Ravery as a bird of death and doom because all that stuff is false. Ravery is sort of like the Absol of the region because people consider the Raven family as birds of doom but all of this is false. The people say that because they are sometimes scared when these guys show up at night and they also don't like how the raven family play pranks. Fortunately, only a few people in the region think that they are scary. On the plus side, the raven family can still learn some ghost and dark type moves since they are pranksters yay!

Blaze mode:
I added a unique feature to the raven family a long time ago about the flame changing into a white-blue color when their ability, blaze, is activated. You can look at it on the picture (:
It changes his flame appearance during battle which makes him really cool. Blaze mode is also part of the concept of how the sun/stars become hotter when their flame becomes bluish white and that is why red stars are cooler than white stars.
