This is half pencil sketch, half digital enhancement, and based off the big fight in Rocky IV against Ivan Drago...if you couldn't tell.I was debating on what to title this for a long time... Work that I do which I put a lot of effort into, I feel has to have a great title... I thought about several for this one, infact a full thirty minutes of debating. I thought about rocky's scream at the top of the mountain for his nemisis "DRAGOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!", the forboding words from Rocky's wife who has always been behind him "You Can't Win!", but ultimately, I settled on the part that always gives me chills, when the hostile russian audience begins chanting Rocky's name over and over because he wont give up against a seemingly invincble opponent.
If you couldn't tell, I love this movie, it's my favorite in the series (admitedly it's not the best in the series, but that's never stopped me from liking anything the best).
I may color this one later, I thought it was more dramatic this way, I hope you all enjoy it.

I lika all the little details, from the mouthguard in Rocky's mouth down the writing on Drago's shorts. And that the sweat and spittle are flying off each other. Very good work.

I really like this piece. You have a good range of value in a simple monochromatic picture. You really show the emotion in the fight.
I got to agree with ya as well, Rocky IV is my favorite in the series although, like you said, it's not the best one in the series.
