Haha, this is what happens when you don't go to Church for 2 weeks (it's not open during school holidays) but the hymn "When a Knight Won His Spurs" is stuck in your brain. Suddenly, your hayfever notices it's the middle of June and goes up to 11 so you have to start taking stronger doses of Cetirizine.

Then you make the fatal mistake of watching the TF3 bonus features before you try to sleep...

Razzles and Optimus Prime had slightly stolen borrowed the Jackhammer to go Gallomp hunting, but they decided to stop off for cookies en route. Unfortunately Optimus still doesn't understand that no, cookies don't grow on trees and now there's a thunderstorm brewing so it's going to be quite a trek to find those chocolatey treats.

Eventually Razzles and Optimus start arguing over directions which leads to Optimus sarcastically pulling rank by doing the Animated "Well I'm the Primer Prime!" line. The skies crack with blue lightning and the voice of Leonard Nimoy rumbles over the landscape
"NO, YOU JUST MADE THAT UP!"

Startled, Optimus politely demands the voice to show itself if that's not too much to ask, but it simply booms back
"I AM A PRIME, I DO NOT TAKE ORDERS FROM YOU!"

And there he was, atop his magnificent steed under the suddenly dazzling blue sky. The knight from the hymn, obvsly just back from pwning dragons and ogres because he still had his sword and shield! He then proceeded to tell us that he was a former soldier-turned-pirate from 1792 who had been thrown overboard for treason during a voyage to the Kaon Islands.
The mysterious red emblem he had found on the biggest island was always on his belt - it even went overboard with him. It had the magical ability to travel through time and space, so at the far end of the 27th Century he had battled giant metal beings on a dying planet. Or should that be he was going to fight GIANT EFFIN ROBOTS in about 600 years time?
During one particularly asswhupping deathmatch he managed to take out several robots, so he forged his epic weaponry and armour from their shattered bodies.

So there you have it.
According to the hayfever receptors Sentinel Prime is in fact a ridiculously badass undead space pirate
