OH NO! IS THIS THE END OF THE ORANGE AVENGER??

David Goliath, the puny human who becomes THE ORANGE AVENGER, gets a Christmas job working at his local toy store and all goes well for the first few days. One night it's his turn to restock, but it's only a small order so the urge to slack off for the last 20 minutes proves overwhelming.

Bored, David climbs up on some pallets and starts strumming his air guitar along to his favourite Tenacious D song. With only 3 minutes left on his shift, he makes the mistake of playing it backwards! This causes the Multiverse to shudder just enough to knock a Leader Class robot box to the floor in a puff of thick pink smoke.

Realising he better put that back, he crouches down towards the suspicious smoking box and

PWOOF!!

towering far above him is THE COMMANDER, wearing a red emblem on his belt. David instinctively summons THE ORANGE AVENGER, but he wasn't expecting any trouble in the middle of an empty stockroom so he just stands there staring up at the new arrival.

Glaring down at the small human THE COMMANDER summons a massive sword into existence, swirls his massive cape around, and FWOPS!! into nothing with a flash of blue lightning!
