Description
Alternate Timeline AU where Nagato became Hokage at the age of 13 because Jirayia brought him and the ame orphans with him to Konoha and helped train them. The Akatsuki formed under Obito Uchiha disguised as Madara, who attacked Konoha unleashing the Nine-Tails. During the attack the Hokage and his wife die, Naruto is born and Itachi's little brother, Sasuke, as well as Nagato's best friend, Yahiko, are killed. Yahiko's death activates Nagato's true power who enables him to save himself and Konoha by sealing the Nine-Tails, and by saving Konoha making the people trust in him and grant him the mantle of Hokage. 4 years after the dreaded incident Itachi's family is blessed with another baby boy that Itachi insists naming Sasuke, promising that he shall protect him at all costs. However throughout the years Nagato's age and questionable methods, including teaching (becoming a sensei) at just 25 make the Uchiha less supportive of his methods who try to set up a coup. Pressured by Danzo and Obito, Itachi is supposed to kill the entire clan in order to prevent an all out civil war. However thanks to the friendship between him and the young Hokage, Itachi discusses this with Nagato. Nagato chooses the middle-ground in trying to get all the children out of the village before the fated day so that at least they are saved since they're innocent. After the Massacre Itachi joins the Akatsuki as a spy and Sasuke resents Itachi for what he did and the brutal murder of his parents. 4 years later Nagato becomes Sasuke, Sakura and Ino's sensei, Naruto just becoming a jounin.
