Description
This is Thor, the Norse god of thunder.

I did not base this drawing on the Thor of Marvel Comics(who took many creative liberties), but on the mythological Thor.

In his original mythology, Thor was described as having red hair (a fairly common hair color in Scandinavia and northern Europe) and a lush beard, in addition to that, his main weapon Mjolnir was not the only one he possessed, and that it allowed him to throw lightning whenever he struck, in addition to being able to launch it and make it return to his hands.

Another of his weapons in addition to his powerful hammer, is his belt called Megingjörð, which gave him super strength, and his gloves called Járngreipr, which made him invincible in close combat.

Thor was the son of Odin, but his mother was Jord, a giant, who for the Nordics, was the personification of the earth, and his brother was not Loki, Odin had Baldr, and Höðr, with Frigga (his legitimate wife), being Thor, the half brother of these last 2.

Despite being a protective god of the earth, Thor was not exactly a noble or good-natured vigilante as the comics describe him, despite the fact that his mother was a Giant (or Jothun, as the Norsemen called them), Thor hated them at point of enjoying going to his kingdom from time to time (Jotunheim) to be able to slaughter them and bathe in their blood, in addition, he was known for being very temperamental, who generally went to rage very often.
