Description
Colours are finally finishedZelmarr
Height: 7'0
Weight: 310 lbs.
History:
Zelmarr was created by Prunella, the creator of Malvyrians. She created him for the purpose of being the ultimate soldier. He was trained by Prunella's brother, Amel. Amel was general of the malvyrian military and he wanted a colonel. Zelmarr is a master tactician and strategist. He displayed the skills as a child. When he became of age, Amel made him Knight Commander(Similar to a Colonel) of the malvyrian military. This was at a time when malvyrian were fighting against seely and unseely fae for their independence. Zelmarr was intrumental in demolishing most of the enemy forces to give malvyrians time to escape the Infinite Forest, The realm of fae folk.
After the escape, Zelmarr was tasked to kill Dark Elves that were trying to takeover Malvyria. He then led a campaign against the Dark Elves to the brink of near extinction. Years had passed of peace until Some demons escaped from hell to try and takeover the prime material plane. Monceasea, a long time allies and close friends of Malvyria went to hell to fight off the majority of the forces since they specialized in killing demons mostly. Malvyria picked off the the forces that made it through. It was during these set of wars he met Lavara, a blue dragon who was an ally of Monceasea. They became comrades. She was a second generation blue dragon who was child of the powerful Lazair. Zelmarr and Lavara later became lovers and after the Demon war Zelmarr left to the mountains of Malvyria with his bride.
A few hundred years later, Zelmarr was asked by Sorvol, The emperor of Malvyria to investigate a weird surge in magic that seemed like something was trying to come into Malvyria from the Infinite Forest. it seemed likely that dark fae would so Zelmarr, Lavara and a small group of malvyrian went to this location. There was indeed a gate opened there that lead to an altar in the Infinite Forest.
on this altar was an infant malvyrian girl with glowing runes all over her body. Zelmarr took the child and closed the gate and returned to Sorvol. Sorvol charged Zelmarr with the responsibility of taking care of the child. Zelmarr named the infant Nytia[link] which means "child of magic" in malvyrian language. Zelmarr and Lavara retired from the field of duty to raise the child.
After Nytia grew up, Zelmarr and Lavara went adventuring for some years. They eventually ran into Lavara's father Lazair. Lazair did not fully approve of Lavara's choice in mate so he challenged Zelmarr to a duel to prove himself worthy of his daughter's hand. Zelmarr defeated Lazair after a long and brutal battle. Zelmarr sparred Lazair's life. Lazair was surprised but impressed by Zelmarr's fighting ability. He gave Zelmarr his breath weapon, an arcane telescoping staff with the power of electricity which is what these blue dragons breath. Zelmarr and Lavara's adventures continued even in the Outlands and hell occasionally. Zelmarr would return from time to time to teach and train others back in Malvyria.

Mmm, beefcake~! I love his design and backstory, and I'm dying to know how you did your lightning effect! (the only way I can pull lightning off is with plug-ins
...)
This is outstanding, like it has a life all its own. Fantastic job!

Thanks luv What I did with the lightning was use the pen tool freehand style to make the bolt. Then I used the airbrush to get the glow effect. I'm glad you read the back story! He was the first Malvyrian I ever created
