Thanks, I think I like this cause I can't see the Amtrak unit behind her. Without the signal bridge and the ribon rail in the shot I think it would be hard to tell if it's a recent photo. I will get another shot again when she comes back

I agree with you on Amtrak, great for getting from point a to point b but if I don't have to I'd rather not see them..a guy where I have my photos locally has a bunch of Amtrak shots framed and up for sale and it always makes me scratch my head...and they're not even anything special in the way of setup or content...but maybe it's me...other people love Amtrak...I just can't get excited about them..unless I'm going somewhere.

What a gorgeous and magnificent GS-4 steam locomotive.
The image just doesn't show her off, there's no steam, no sense of power, and her smoke box door is't shiny.

At this point she was being pushed mostly by a P42. You can see the heat off her but that's it.
