Description
Combating extreme moodiness with happy-fun-time (shitty) coloring; yaaaaay! I feel I'm in a slump...I hope to overcome it soon.I miss reading those old Jedi Apprentice books. Good times. While I still own those books they aren't with me. These days though I'll cleave through seven in one day, when way back in the day I'd take two days for one; heheh. Yup; miss 'em. Miss wee Obi-Wan. Sh'o cute! :3
obligatory disclaimer: Star Wars & Jedi Apprentice are not mine.

I wa just wondering, in terms of the series Jedi Apprentice - you've mentioned it a couple of times - if it would be suitable ( can't think of a better word) for someone going on 15? That probably sounds pretty weird so I'm gonna elaborate a bit. Β It's not that I care much for the assigned age for readers of the books its just that I didn't want to end up reading a set of stories with very childish wording and simple sentences, the way you sometimes find in children's books.Β
Regardless I love your art of young Obi-Wan! It looks great!!Β

I think that the books are worth reading, if you ever get your hands on them, truly. It's not Tolkien, it's not going to describe some mountain or antechamber for about twenty pages, but its also not going to baby you with stupidly small words either. I'd say for faster and older readers one can finish off an entire book in a couple hours, but it's a refreshing way to kill time with a good book if you just want to immerse yourself in sci-fi, adventure, and a hell of a lot more entertaining of a central character than Anakin Skywalker could have ever hoped to be.Β

Love this picture of him. Boy it brings back Memories of the JA Series. I've been re-reading the books and now I just completed the set with the Special Edition Books. Brings back so many memories.

I always get nostalgic over those books. Not a day goes by that I don't reflect back on them and how much I enjoyed reading them.

Totally did NOT read those books over and over and over and over and over and over and over......and over because I was infatuated with Obi Wan Kenobi.

Wow, but you're so good at English! At least from what I can see.
The Jedi Apprentice books would be very easy reads anyway, the only downside is that the books are out of print, meaning they are pretty difficult to find unless to dig through old, used book stores. Or pay an arm and leg for them on the internet. >_> Or manage to find text docs of them on the internet.
I do recommend the series, though. They're a treat for any Obi-Wan fan young and old!

Thanks, I keep searching. And reading the books in English would be both fun and like a practice...

Man, I miss those books too. Like you, I've still got them, they just live far, far away from me. (I couldn't bring everything I owned with me to college)
Your Obi-Wan has got so much spunk in his design. Took me back instantly. Great job!

These days you may have SOME luck looking through a used bookstore, as those books are unattainable in a normal store (I've even looked for them in an ebook format and no such luck, though it's possible with a little more digging I can find something). I'm missing a few and to this day I scour every used bookstore I come across. Ebay and Amazon are good places to look too, but buying them as a complete set is pretty darn expensive.
My honest opinion: worth every penny. If you're a big fan of Star Wars, and an even bigger fan of Obi-Wan Kenobi then its a great investment.

Im sure they are worth every penny (Obi-Wan is my favorite jedi, favorite person would be Han Solo lol) it's just going to be a chore finding them lol. I had a hard time finding the first three books in the Legacy series lol. Thank you!!
