Description
dionaea muscipulacatching mostly insects and arachnids ... and me ^^
its trapping structure is formed by the terminal portion of each of the plant's leaves and is triggered by tiny hairs on their inner surfaces. when an insect or spider crawling along the leaves comes into contact with one or more of the hairs twice in succession, the trap closes. the requirement of redundant triggering in this mechanism serves as a safeguard against the spurious expending of energy toward trapping other, non-living things which may not reward the plant with similar nutrition.
the plant's common name refers to venus, the roman goddess of love, whereas the genus name refers to dione. dionaea is a monotypic genus closely related to the waterwheel plant and sundews.

ok, then we should go together to kopenhagen from here. its not very far away and a wonderful place to stay. now i know the way and all its attractions without using a map. i went there by bus and ferry. stayed in a friends room of a flat-sharing community. we went downtown by bus then and walked from 0800 till 2000. i made over 450 pics during this weekend. the first evening i cooked and made a salad, but during the other days we had pizza in the park for lunch or dansk hot dog. all the museums, like the museum of modern art, the botanical garden, all the buildings, streets and people were absolutely interesting. i nearly forgot how impressive kopenhagen is^^
