Why the fuck bother? Really? You've spent years establishing your brand, sold countless T-Shirts, gym bags, coffee mugs and several metric tuns of other crap with that very recognizable and even iconic DeviantArt logo of yours..
THEN YOU FUCKING DECIDE YOU'RE BORED OF IT OR SOMETHING AND YOU NEED TO REVIVE YOUR BRAND SOMEHOW? WHAT THE FUCK!! WHY!!
It seems like they just want all those hard-core fans who put good money in getting some DA merch to buy a whole new line of merch so they can MAKE BILLIONS MUAHAHAHA!!
And what about all those people who actually DID make the commitment and got a fucking tattoo of the old logo? There's even people with such a tattoo right here on DeviantArt!

About the comic I had a different layout in mind when drawing, but I failed to plan ahead properly and bungled it all up, fuckin' ages since I did comics, but nevertheless I realize I have so much to learn before I can even dare call myself a comic "artist" >_<;; But at least I finished something! yay! Takes a fucking dumbass logo change to bring me back from the dead these days!

I'm still a bit new on DA but I like the old logo better.Β The new one looks like it has some subliminal message in it "Money over Art." The logo reminds me of some sketchers brand....

haha money over art XD, yeah actually one of my first thoughts on the symbol was that it looked kinda like a dollar sign for some kind of money that starts with a Z... like Zeny! or someth like that..

Don't know why this popped up when I searched "redhead", but whatever.
I've heard that the logo was intended to be like dA itself - people don't get it at first but once they do get it they see the art inside it. Β It's actually the old logo, in a slightly different font, cut in thirds, then removing the left and right thirds.
While yes, I do agree they should've stuck with the old one just because of how iconic it has become, once you see the symbolism of the new one it's kinda cool.
