When I first found the sub-sub-sub-culture-fandom, it was 90% through these three.Although Maxwolf has since stopped drawing, Otterpaws was probably the first site I stumbled upon. Absolutely killer artist; I've probably used his pictures more times for reference (pose, expression, etc.) than anyone else. So here's to him!
Then his site linked out to , who just about floored me the first time I saw his site. The Koopa comic, the Starfox pics, and the Wolves are practically classics for me. Easily the best artist of the fandom.
Of course, his site linked on to 's, which was like striking gold at the time. Besides being the first time I saw Caroo, Firebird, Seraphon, and a bunch more, I've read Kyle's First Date and Poor Ken! way too many times.
I'm a bit ashamed about the quality of one, but I included it anyways. This one's more about honoring the elders than trying to make them look good.

Y'know, as much as I appreciate your imagination, it is incredibly heartening to see someone else say exactly what I think about 's art.
I had no interest at all in anything remotely anthro - and I was working with skilled artists daily - but that guy's artwork blew me away. If there's any justice on this dirtclod he is destined for unnervingly great things. There may be others with better "technical" skills (not that I could judge), or perhaps a very VERY few with a more active imagination - but the fusion of the two is unparalleled in the ol' chimon-goat.
(I make no attempt at being objective or reasonable, having been honored to collaborate with him...)
Max and Kyle certainly deserve their props, having inspired formidable talent too (art, and writing).
Dang it, I just might owe you another post-workout nicotine delivery device...

Maybe it's karma? We've both dished it out more than we take it, by the looks of things. Don't worry about being stuck in the wall, though; you Grand Poobahs get let out early to wander around and torture the others.
