Not sure what Maleficent would be doing at a train station, but it is an excellent shot regardless. That truss roof is an awesome backdrop.

Oh, that must have been interesting. You probably had them running away, climbing up the walls trying to escape. LOL!
My wife never told me if she scared some kids when she was dressed as Maleficent for Halloween. I should ask her. She really didn't go into character that night, otherwise she probably would have scared a few off.
Still just the idea of a child seeing a woman with horns in a dark robe and staff, that could be pretty frightening.
BTW, have you ever saw the concept art for the movie? Initially they were going to go with a different style for Maleficent:

With the photographer, we went in a church to do more picture. We saw that certain person was shock by the horn. Because horn=devil etc.. So we left the church quickly (we stayed only 5 minutes) and the priest came outside the church to attack us. But we were leaving ! i can understand that shock especially in a church but in france they are no open minded on the subject.

Yep, Disney did have some concept art for Maleficent and if you look carefully it is the same picture of Jolie altered in each frame. Of course whomever came up with the artwork ended up making the concept drawings too sexy looking. Naturally that wouldn't fly with Disney. Sometimes I wonder if the concept art was just thrown out there just to get an audience 'feel' on it because honestly, if you deviate too much from the original on an iconic character such as Maleficent, people are not going to like it. Or it could have been the concept art was to create Maleficent's look BEFORE she was betrayed. But that is not likely because of the different horn arrangements they have presented.
I would say out of those pictures, the first one is close to the original Maleficent. The body reminds me of John Carter. I like it actually, but it is radically different. But she has the green skin and yellow eyes like Sleeping Beauty Maleficent.
The picture of the three different shots of Jolie, I like the middle one best. There she has the iconic green skin but with the cheekbones. If they stuck with the iconic two horns here, I think this would have been a nice look, albeit a bit on the sexy side.
The last two shots are very plausible, but extremely sexy. Disney certainly wouldn't have flown with that, but it certainly would have increased the male audience attendance. Especially for guys that have the hots for Jolie.
All in all, I am glad they went with the direction they did. I loved the wings and long haired look for Maleficent early on in the movie. She just looks bada** AND sexy to boot without going over the top.
LOL! You DARED to enter a church dressed like that? Wow, you certainly have guts, I have to hand that to you. But it doesn't surprise me a bit that you got chased out and for the reasons you mentioned. It isn't much different here in the U.S. I am sure you would have been chased out here as well. Why did you want to photo shoot in a church anyway? Was it because of the castle like gothic architecture? I guess that I can understand. You have some really nice gothic cathedrals there in France, notably, Notre Dame. That cathedral looks like something out of a medieval movie. So it would fit the part easily.

Sometimes you might get lucky and find an abandoned old church or even a castle to do a photo shoot with. Just if that is the case it is a good idea to get permission first before entering an abandoned property. You never know, some of those places could be dangerous to set foot on.
Yeah, people of the church can be funny at times. People in general per say. Even in my own fanfic story I have made references to humans calling Maleficent an 'evil monster', but that is because those people (in my story) were too ignorant to properly get to know Maleficent. Those that did find out she isn't much different from humans at all. As in the movie, in my story Maleficent is kind and goodhearted. ...Just don't piss her off.

Yes we celebrate Easter, but tomorrow. It's a public holiday (i don't know how to say "jour férié" in english
There is a big problem with the cathedral Notre Dame, it's too touristic. The photographer and me searched quiet places, to be discreet and that no one can annoy us.
I do not regret the photo in church, anyway we couldn't use them. (it's a matter of respect). The church was so perfect and beautiful !

So then you are not too far from the Notre Dame cathedral? Well I could imagine it is a popular tourist attraction as it is perhaps the most famous cathedral in the world. I don't blame you for seeking out more quiet places.
