Version 1 work created for TigerTranslate's Balance theme.

Vector and freehand illustration work over a photograph given by KultDesign. I decided to create a new one from the first one I made which was purely vector. I decided to manually sketch instead and digitize everything. I based what I did on the concept of balance between the emotional and the structural: on how emotions can be erratic and waywardly chaotic and unexplainable at times, versus the structure of how things are in terms of pre-rationalized form and order.

It was challenging as I'm used to having a lot of space to work in... lol! Plus i don't often illustrate over a photograph with an electric charged subject.

I meant for it to be a very maximalist piece, because I got very obsessive again with details and such and rendered it from each and every section, which is a hard feat because I still had to consider the composition of elements. For me, there is always beauty in detail, overwhelming at first, but beautiful regardless in its smallest views.
