Description
Another private commission. I thought it would be really tricky to blend between the four seasons, but fortunately so long as I used light washes in the background and foreground it went much more smoothly than I expected.8.25 x 22.5 inches, acrylic and a little colored pencil

I must tell you that this is truly a splendid work of art. It's so very
rich in detail without seeming crowded. Masterfully done. +Fave.

I love the soft glowy feel it has to it. What kind of surface to you use for your acrylic/colored pencil thing? I'm currently using a hot press 300lb paper - and whenever I do acrylic wash / colored pencil all I can see is the paper

Thanks! I use Fabriano Artistico 300 lb. cold press. Maybe the hot press you're using doesn't have enough tooth to hold the paint well? Not sure - it's been so long since I've used hot press for anything. I do remember it being great for doing precision inking though....

Winter Squirrel is about to fall back into fall. Cute.
Odd that the fish looks intelligent, yet the duckling just looks like a duckling. Your (eco)system's a little unpredictable.
