OK...So a bunch of you guys have probably seen this over on Joshs gallery, so I thought I would post up the pencil sketch for you guys to check out as well, since it's nice n raw.I guess this is a little sneak peek at what's in store for Chibi Smash. Same concept, where I will take peoples original character designs and make a fun piece of art out of it. I'm hoping to kick that off next month, and I'll see if we can't get a full years worth of chibis this time. So get ready to submit your designs!
This guy was designed as a maskot for Josh...You can check his stuff out over here: The idea was to play up to Joshs strength. Obviously he is known for his work on transformers, so perhaps we can expect to see some more chibi/transformer style designs from us.

The colors are very nice, thay blend so well.

well, I didnt colour this one myself, but I ususally use PS....I believe Josh probably uses the same thing, and with a mouse no less!

oh, heh, photoshop eh? hmm. I just finally got it and I never got to learn how to color like this in my high school, they didn't teach that stuff, just all the put your head on another body, or go to the moon, lol. And using a mouse though?? I was sure Wacm was involved. oh and yeah, I reread that you did the pencils right? Seriously talented. Well thanks a lot for the reply, now I know it's possible, I'm gonna go practice now, lol. Laters Red!

Well.....I will post a big ass journal entry with all the details later this month, and that will be the place to submit your ideas along with the rules n all that. It's pretty easy, and it's definately a lot of fun.

Dang that's freakin' hot J! What tools did you use to color the lineart for the blast? As well as makin the highlights? Also, did you ink this digitally or traditional? Again, great job with this.
