OK...So a bunch of you guys have probably seen this over on Joshs gallery, so I thought I would post up the pencil sketch for you guys to check out as well, since it's nice n raw.I guess this is a little sneak peek at what's in store for Chibi Smash. Same concept, where I will take peoples original character designs and make a fun piece of art out of it. I'm hoping to kick that off next month, and I'll see if we can't get a full years worth of chibis this time. So get ready to submit your designs!
This guy was designed as a maskot for Josh...You can check his stuff out over here: The idea was to play up to Joshs strength. Obviously he is known for his work on transformers, so perhaps we can expect to see some more chibi/transformer style designs from us.

This is real smooth J! I really like your choice of colors, and how you did all the glow. This Chibi Smash sounds too good to be true. Whats the catch? The only bad thing is, once you do one of my characters,i'll see how bad mine sucks!

cheers Nass! I don't particularly enjoy drawing unorganic things, but when you can take a lot of liberties like I did here, I suppose you can breathe some extra life into those characters. Glad you like it man.

Yeah!! Cool!! Like everybody else, I absolutely dig that little Batman-doll you put in there, little fun detail that absolutely kicks!!
As for the pic: I'm always having a hard time drawing a robot that actually looks like a cool robot...well, YOU don't actually! I especially love the legs!! Very slick!
(...hmmm; I'm definately thinking about signing up at DA under another name to submit another character for the Chibi-Smash, as I already got the chance to get chosen...! The pic is still hanging over my desk!)
