I'm supposed to have posted this last week but I was really busy. And the fact that I had other things to think and concentrate on.

Before the Spanish colonization, males (boys to adult men) had long hair. Although I think haircuts aren't that important those times...there's little information. The main clothing between men and women are distinct but for the children, it's different, especially if depending on the society status.

But anyway, the hair for both boys and girls are the same so I think if I were there, it would be hard to distinguish which is which unless I ask.

From what I can remember, women with higher standing in a barangay have more clothing so yeah.

Anyway, even if the Filipinos during those times were welcoming to the visitors (Spanish, Chinese, etc.), that doesn't really they get easily trusted. I think most of them were guarded and suspicious and if Hetalia were real, they would've protected Philippines one way or another.

And during the Spanish rule, women were treated unfairly. It wasn't stated but it was implied in Jose Rizal's novels, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo where the friars took advantage of women.

I've just realized few days ago that the name "Las Islas Filipinas" is a feminine name. Ahahahaha since I'm learning some basic Spanish, I thought it's a good indication that Philippines will become a girl. As for Spain naming a boy a feminine name, well, Little!Philippines looks like a girl so we can say Spain named her as such even if he didn't know the real gender.
