Wow, thats pretty awesome. The color and shadows are weird, but work very well here.

And do I smell a U2 reference?? Because that just makes this piece even cooler.

Jesus, you are KICKING MY ASS with this motif/genre/style you're doing.

I feel a LITTLE dicey about the hard shadow in this one. But MAYBE it's exactly the "pool" of solid darkness that makes the watercolor-appeal and open space of the image even more appealing? I don't know. (I'm obviously thinking aloud here, AFTER having already hit the button.) Maybe it's that the darkness is good, but a little more suppleness to the perimeter of the shadow would be the perfect way to make it BOTH more complementary and still serve the contrast purpose. (I know that effect near the crossing of her legs is definitely perfect already.)

More to the point, though, this just slays me. I'm a big fan of economy, and just as importantly, restraint, and your willingness and vision here to do SO DAMN MUCH with so little takes my breath away.

It also manages to be visually "mild" but deeply stirring, and of course, most of all, glows with utterly beautiful.
