"Wisdom isn't born in the wise. It's born in fools."I was taking a silly selfie while wearing my buddy Wesley's glasses, and Matt decided he wanted in on it. Some people walking by saw a bunch of fools, and maybe that's what someone might see looking at the photo here! But to me... it was good times with great friends.
It was such a silly little moment, but it was a quality moment with some of my best friends, and in that very moment, I was genuinely happy. I'll likely remember it forever.
Oh, also, we smoked a LOT of weed that afternoon.

Wisdom CAN be born in fools, but there's no guarantee.
Also, the wise got wise for a reason, so they will naturally appreciate wisdom and seek to further it. Thus, wisdom can also be born in the wise. Unless you are referring to the very start of it with that metaphor. But that moment is difficult to pin down.
Yes, there is a possible duality of folly vs. wisdom, but making that saying into a mantra can become a trap, for it can lead to a self-affirmation of one's folly as a counterpart to wisdom, opposing it, and believing it already is wisdom.
Folly leads to wisdom if you are not attached to folly. But if you are not, aren't you already wise?
You see? It is a profound process of defining yourself not through concepts, but through being what you choose. And then you realize that using thoughts and applying strategies for the path towards the goal will manifest a path, not a goal.
Making a jump to a goal without any causal connection that satisfies the mind can be very scary though.
