Description Her name means "she who massacres." Obviously she is a war goddess. She was associated with lionesses, like the goddess Sekhemet, and was said to ride ahead of armies and shoot down the enemy with fiery arrows. In the third nome of Upper Egypt, she was believed to be the wife of Khnum and the mother of Heka, the god of magic.
