Description
Also known as Nebthet, part of the Great Ennead of Heliopolis. She is the sister of Isis, Osiris, Horus the Elder, and Set/Seth. Her name means "Lady of the House" and is associated with funerary rites along with her sister. I decided to portray Nephthys as a dark, seductive woman because she had a penchant for trickery and deceit; her most well-known trick involved disguising herself as her sister Isis so she could seduce Isis' husband Osiris-who was also their brother-because her own husband, her brother Set/Seth, was infertile; this union led to the birth of the god Anubis.
