Wow. the texture on the leaves is just amazing! And you coloured it so well, it really gives out a certain emotion.
The colours represent autumn, and because those leaves are the only coloured things in the shot the represent life in general as well.
Just like your comments this is a very well thought piece, that (at least i believe it does) resemblences you as well.

luvverly! I reeeelly like the colours, and the gray tones are excellent too... composition, of course, is excellent as well. One suggestion, tho: I would use 'Overlay' mode when you're colourizing (that is, if you're using Photoshop).

Wonderful colorizations on b&W. The textures are lovely, this has an antique feel to it...partly due to the color added in, partly due to the rough texture of the rocks, etc. I like the strength of the manly and the softness of the feminine. Well done.

this is great!! nice concept. the brown/gold leaf seems to have a loss of 'depth' in the right part. perhaps from the colouring. yet nice.

two lovers, two individuals; one red and the other brown. both engrossed in their own world, eager to love. they feel; they touch but they both understand the need of space--room to breathe and they depart only to return once again in their partner's embrace. they live together, unaffected by the mundane society around them, hence the gray surrounding. I love this very much. i feel so at ease looking at this--so in love.

Two leaves, one sober and quiet, the other wild and crazy, both lying comfortably on the rock they've been placed on.
Surrounded by wonderful and detailed textures. Colouring the cold grey world around them, bringing their unique qualities together and into their world. Sharing their souls with the rest of the world, spreading the joy and understanding of each others minds.
