So... unexpectedly I finally got to finish a Hat in Time this year since I started it back when it came out, but found out my computer didn't like running it so I returned it.

But it wasn't long after that I thought of this idea. And I SWORE an OATH (not really): The day I beat it I would do this comic. Even if it'd take years for that chance. I was originally just gonna put it in a generic green grass blue sky setting, but I thought I would actually have fun with it and recently thought of the art change idea. But I DID IT! I did the THING there, ya happy now, me?

I guess me's answer would be... yes? I dunno. I had fun making this even if it took longer than I wanted but that' okay.

I enjoy both games. But funny enough, my brother walks in on me playing one level of Shovel Knight. He takes a small glance and says, "This game is weird."

He walks in on me BEATING A Hat in Time, with little context before watching the ending (so it'd definitely be weird). He says that the game is "cute."

...

I don't think he understands ALL video games are weird.
