BrainMan's theme: youtu.be/-pwGHXhQk_EAs a huge fan of Hitoshi Ariga, I've always particularly liked his character files, where he explains everything so thoroughly and scientifically.
That's why I decided to do a few of those myself, with various fangame Robot Masters - which often are as intriguing as the original ones.
Bottom line - there's more where this came from!

I won't lie - MegaMan 42 isn't a very good game. The designs are very cool, but the gameplay itself is mediocre at best.

Anyway, Brain man has to be the best designed RM of the bunch (though it's not saying much when you look at Ombuds Man). I was thinking that an ariga style version of him would be a result of transferring a real human brain into a robot but that would be too morbid for the classic series.

The ending? Oh-- yeah, the ending was great! Turns out there weren't any robots after all, it was just their... imagination...
Seriously though, I think that the only truly bad designs in 42 are MadMan and SandMan. The rest is actually very neat, they're just poorly drawn/sprited.

At least you can remake the Robot Masters of 42 into non Mega Man .5ish things.

What was wrong with MM5's Robot Master designs? I liked them all, especially GyroMan. Anyway, I think that, from 42, I'll yet do OmbudsMan, and that's it. There are a lot more fangames out there, after all.

No, Mega Man 0.5, as in, before Mega Man 1. And yeah, true that. Personally, I was thinking about some sort of Mega Man fangame based off 3D Mega Man with fanmade robot masters in it.
