This seems like its located somewhere in the UK. I don't know why I'm getting that vibe, seeing that I've never been there. Maybe its the building style and mountains in the background.

I really like the setting of this: great lines and textures with thoughtful details like in the grass and on the ruins and broken old fence remains. The rocks are well done, although a few more small touches of sharp light contrast could have given a better appearance of sharper edges for those not worn down by time and feet. The character is well rendered, with a gentle sense of movement and a very well illustrated face.
The only thing I'd say could be improved at all would be the lighting. The rocks are lit in a way that is inconsistent with the figure, who has a strong light on her torso but not elsewhere (this could be altered by desaturation of the teal), and isn't casting a strong shadow. The light is also hitting the hills behind the figure, suggesting the sun coming from that direction. Overall, the light source is difficult to determine.
But that doesn't change the fact that this is a lovely picture, with an approachable anthro with good body language and well executed colors. Congrats on the well deserved DD!

Thank you very much for the feedback! You have good points about the lighting. The background had been bothering me for a while, but I had not realized it was the lightning and direction. However I plan not to edit this work further as it would be really hard to edit the image as everything is merged. I will definitely keep your feedback in mind to practice this weakness.

I think returning to a finished piece is too hard, mentally, haha! But, lighting is tricky. Especially if you use multiple references or memory/imagination--consistency is very difficult over various textures and surfaces as well. But you did a lovely overall job and you should be proud of it!

Yeah I spent more attention to colours in this piece rather than lighting. The ruins/buildings behind the feline are also very new for me as I never did that before in my backgrounds. There is always something new to learn! thank you!
