I thought it was really easy to do all a piece of master art likes this with only computer's mouse, surely is because pen sensitivity.

yeah but also because it draws naturally. I use both the tablet and the mouse. Mouse for clicking all the layers and tools. pen to use for the action on the canvas

I have a question. Why do some pictures of the chest region of a feline form a hinge between the forelegs while some other pictures do not?

Yeah. Chests hinge on all felines. With the sphynx you got the wrong muscles

I have looked it up. But none of what I have looked up in the past and recently has helped me understand why I sometimes see the lack of the hinge in some photos of felines. You say I have the muscles wrong on the sphynx. Regardless, I don't see it hinging and still don't know why. So, why don't I see it?

Keep in mind not all muscles are clearly visible. sometimes fur gives an illusion chests don't hinge.

with lions i use rarely references because they are easy for me to draw from memory.
