Then I got the idea for it to match Lan's portrait. Like Lan's portrait this is my mental image.

If only you could see my fangirling. I love Nynaeve so much. When I started re-reading (around 2 months after finishing the series) I didn't realize how much I missed her omnipresent awesomness. This also shows what I believe Rand said about her looking more mature wither hair short. You, m'dear did a wonderful job.

About how beautiful she is: Moghedien comments to her (when she uses Compulsion on them in Tanchico) that she would love to she Rahvin's meeting with her once her block was broken (since he is overly fond of taking beautiful women of intelligence and mental strength and breaking them to his will.) I always took it as meaning he looked on it as Graendal did her pets: only the most intelligent, strong willed, gorgeous women were worth the time it took him to break them. (And remember Valan Luca and his constant pursuit of her? Or Juilin, when he first met the Wondergirls?) I've always thought of Nynaeve as being far more beautiful that Egwene and Rand's Three (she might even give Berelain a run for her money!!) She has that added "flavor" of living and experiencing things that you can tell the others just don't have. It adds to her allure.

So, hilariously, I met Brandon Sanderson at an AMoL signing, and someone asked him if part of the reason he had N's hair out of a braid in this book is so he wouldn't have to write about her yanking it anymore. He said yes! Lol.

I don't think she wanted to loose it. It was burned in the Aes Sedai.
My comfort is that she should live a long time (have not finished the last book so I don't know what happens)
So her hair should grow back

She didn't cut it off. It got burnt off during her test for the shawl. Because someone testing her was a complete sadist. Seriously, that's worse than the Forsaken!
