Description These are the Resident Evil props i've made so far. I made the labels of the first aid sprays myself (see other deviations) and i made the herbs from RE5 using this pic as a reference: [link] They currently sit on my shelf next to my virus props. I just need to make the mixed herbs now. I need to find something else to use, using these 2 and putting the red onto the green they just mix together. Might need to use oil. Thinking of making the RE4 mixed herbs too. Those are definately powder form rather than liquid so if i can think of what to use for that look that i can colour then i'll make some of those too. Want to make some hand grenades too but again i need to find the right materials for them

you could take a empty spray can cut off the bottom half and attach a flat metal circle and weld it to the top and rig something for the trigger

I absolutely adore those First aid sprays. What can's did you use for them? Also, did you make the labels yourself?

Cans are just 400ml spray cans (as long as the nozzles on them look right) Most are just spray paint cans but i have some spray oil ones too which look the same

Glad you like them. I made all the labels myself apart from the middle one (i was going to make it myself but found a template here so i just used that but changed the writing on it) The RE4 and RE5 version ones here are my first versions of them, i've made more accurate ones since this in newer pics i've uploaded

I've made a mixed herb from 4 for a cosplay. I used colored sugar that I had and a test tube. My hand grenade I made from a cheap shaving cream can that I spray painted. I plan on going back to it and fixing it up more. Seemed to be similar in size/shape. Don't know if either of those ideas help. Yours will probably look more professional than mine came out.

Cool. I plan on using either powder form food colouring, actual dried herbs in the right colours or coloured sand, not sure yet. The grenades im going to use actual airsoft grenades so they will look real. Will just need to spray them the right colour, make the labels on photoshop and stick them on

Thanks. An ink ribbon was next on my list, been trying to think of what to use for it. All i can think of is a hockey puck

Maybe paint an old altoids tin? You can even store a ribbon inside of it and put a label on the top of it. Just make sure its a circular altoids tin and not the rectangle.

As far as i know cant get those here, never seen/heard of them anyway. Looked on ebay and only have the rectangular tin. Thanks for the idea though will look around

what did u use for the herb containers. i have already made a first aid spray, but i need an herb prop. oh, and THIS KICKS ASS!!!!!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RedDevil00 In reply to Lazorman8 [2010-06-26 16:47:53 +0000 UTC]

I customised some test tubes that have flat bottoms. I actually thought they were round but actually easier that they arent. The tops were black so i painted them white, made the spray part from modelling clay and cut a plastic nozzle from a spray can to make that part then painted all that white

I've finally got the mixed herbs to work after trying several combinations of things. Im just finishing them up before i get pics of them. Then im going to do the RE4 version mixed herbs using powder instead of liquid

well an idea for the three colored hurbs (the green yellow and red) from 4 you can use cooking oil it yellow and dosn't mix ;D

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RedDevil00 In reply to lovelylollipop [2010-06-03 23:51:21 +0000 UTC]

I was thinking of using oil and food colouring for one layer then food coloured water for the second layer, those definately would stay separate. Will work for the RE5 ones. I just need some food colouring. RE4 is powder so i'd need to use something different to make it look like powder instead of liquid. Cant think of what yet
