Personality: Ashay is quite the lady. She enjoys social encounters where the other person is at least a little bit intimidated by her or responds to her likely advances with shy trepidation. It's more fun to mess with them, that way, and makes it easier for her to prank them. She has a strong disposition to flirt with and hit on people (much less so on 16/17 year olds) but prefers to keep things casual. She'd rather the atmosphere be amiable than face a situation ripe with emotional turmoil. Such encounters tend to make her uncomfortable and cause her to act out in a way that would make the gerudo seem antsy or awkward. This goes for her own emotions as well. She doesn't like dealing with them, especially in front of others. Most definitely not in front of others. IT MUST NOT HAPPEN-- Ironically, she's willing to listen to other peoples' personal problems during casual conversation and attempt to give them council. Just don't go crying on her. A squirmy, awkward Ashay will result. In general, being genuine about her own feelings tends to make her feel embarrassed. At least when they're feelings that come from the heart.....

While on duty, rather than remain at her post for an extended amount of time, she prefers to roam about the fortress using any routes an intruder might take to be sneaky. She likes to pop in on other gerudo ladies to chat.... or scare them. She'd not admit she was really doing it to make sure no one else was sneaking up on them.......... or that she didn't want to give any of them the opportunity to creep up on her. (Ooh, mysterious paranoia)

Off duty she may wander awaaaaayyy from the fortress to other areas of Termina just to escape the stranger stress of being around the fortress with the others.

History: Ashay was a vagrant merchant before she arrived in Termina. She'd traveled the desert and Gerudo valley to the Hylian plains on a regular basis, offering various items that could have been classified as "black market" goods, as well as services such as fortune telling which she used to rip people off. Despite her personality, she was one who worked for herself rather than for her sisters back at the fortress. She, however, always returned to check up on them since her distance was not out of a lack of care for her fellow gerudo. In fact, she strove to learn and better herself in an effort to fulfill her desire to rise up as their personal defender. To be powerful enough to strike back against Ganondorf and his witchy guardians... Unfortunately she never explained her intentions to anyone which eventually led to scrutiny and distrust among her sisters. She'd just begun to dabble in magic and the dark arts before she made her last return to the fortress..... Her fellow sisters caught her by surprise and put a harsh end to her suspicious activities, fearing they'd had a budding agent of Ganon and his witchy surrogate mothers on their hands....

Ashay awakens to her new and mysterious surroundings with a strange, painful ache of failure in her soul and a head full of confusion. She'd no idea how she ended up in this place, only able to remember bits and flashes, rushing figures... Pain. But she could not piece it all together. Before she could stand, the sound of jingling bells met her ears and a hand touched her shoulder. It was a hylian. Maybe. To Ashay there seemed to be so much more about the feminine-androgynous figure than they were letting on. After the two exchanged some conversation, they gave the gerudo an odd piece that looked like a very small part of a whole--something or other-- then led her away to the pirate's fortress not far away....

Likes: Hot babes. Adorable babes. Grouchy babes-- etc. Money. People with a sense of humor. The time of day when the sun is beginning to set, like at twilight or dusk. She's pretty chill with dead beings and actually enjoys their company. Despite the unwelcoming nature of the inhabitants of Ikana Canyon, she'd more than likely retreat there to clear her head.

Dislikes: Being snuck up on. People who feel the need to be a wet blanket. People who like to sit on a high horse. People-- no jk. Men getting too touchy. Getting too emotional.

Extra info: Considering the implications of her death, her job choice might be considered... odd. She DOES start to get restless and uncomfortable around the Pirate fortress for reasons she can't explain. This only adds to her need to be on the move and unpredictable.
