EDIT 2: So TLG has revealed Askari's design (or the cave painting of his design) in the episode Cave of Secrets, thus this old design is now defunct. I'll use this guy for something else (he'll likely go back to being called Dakarai; maybe he'll be a son of Askari's?). Either way I'll post Askari's knew design later.

EDIT: TLG has revealed the first leader of the Lion Guard's canon name, so I have changed Dakarai's name to Askari to match it.

Here's how the Lion Guard began in my TLK-verse, with good ol' Askari. He was the leader of the Lion Guard for the three Queens' reign, Tajiri and Fatia's reign, and the beginning of Chinika's reign. Thus, not only did he start the Lion Guard, he also lead it for the longest. And no, he did not use the Roar of Elders. None of the leaders of the Lion Guard do in my TLK-verse, nor do members have that weird lion head thing on their shoulders. Both of those things are a part of Kion's imagination, I believe. However, they may have some sort of marking made out of mud or clay that they put on their shoulder that resembles a lion's head, so it might not all be in Kion's head. Just the magic part.
