My version of the Pride Lands Royal Pride family tree, made via Paint, which goes all the way down to Kiara and Kovu's grandkids. It starts off easy enough, but once we get to Uru's generation, that's when things start to get confusing. So if you have any questions, feel free to ask! I also put the important hyenas in there (because they were once a part of the Royal Pride, even if it was only for a short while), Zuzu and Zazu (since they're the majordomo's to Uru and Mufasa and Simba respectively), Timon and Pumbaa (they did raise Simba after all), and Rafiki and Nefu (since they are/will be the local shamans).

Also, just a heads up:

Nywele = Fluffy

Usiku = Dotty

Mawingu = Spotty

Raziya = Beauty-Spot

Kaweria = Digger
Hasnaa = Scruffy

Reason they don't have their other names in parentheses in the family tree is because they are never called by those names by other lions.

And Pumbaa's dad's name is based off Pumbaa's original name (Harold). I just tried to Africanize it, but all I ended up doing was taking out the "L". Oh well. His new Africanized name, Harod (pronounced "Hay-Rōd"), now roughly translates to "the rod" (lol ) in Swahili.

EDIT: Added Naba and Kion to the family tree as the sons of Simba and Nala. If you don't know who Naba and Kion are, Naba was an alternate name for Chaka, who was going to be Simba's son in TLK 2 before he got scrapped, and Kion is Simba's new son and Kiara's little brother in the new TV series/movie that's coming out in November of 2015, called The Lion Guard, which takes place sometime after TLK 2. EDIT 2: Added Bakari and his family to the tree, since I've made him the father of Scruffy (a.k.a Hasnaa). Since I'm running out of room, I probably won't add any more to the tree. I could barely fit Bakari and co. in there, and Alamgir and Layla (my version of Ahadi's parants) won't fit. So I think that's enough editing the tree for now. Perhaps I'll make a separate tree for each family or something, ending it with grandkids or great-grandkids or something before going onto the next family.

EDIT 3: Oops. I lied about not editing the family tree anymore. I decided to add the names of two of Zazu's family members (specifically the two who "always manage to ruin special occations"). Apparently, as the rumor goes, there were supposed to be two other hornbills named Babazu and Nazu in The Lion King who were possibly supposed to be related to Zazu in some way, but were then cut early in production, and that Zazu's line to Mufasa in regards to Scar's being a grumpy poo-poo pants about Simba's presentation ("There's one in every family, Sire...two in mine, actually!") is possibly a nod to them. Now whether this is true or not, I don't know, but I decided to go ahead and run with it. Since no relations were specifically mentioned for them, I decided to make Babazu into Zazu's father, and Nazu into one of Zazu's four sisters. I have yet to find a translation for either of their names, although "Baba" means "father" in Swahili, so maybe his name is supposed to mean "Father Zu" (since everyone in Zazu's family seems to end their names with "zu")? If anyone has any idea what either of their names mean and what language they're in, I'd be grateful if you let me know, since I'll probably make character sheets for them someday.

EDIT 7: Added the name of Pamoja's and Fathiya's son, as well as added Merah's mate and cubs, Kitwana's mate and cub, and Zamani's mate and cubs.

EDIT 8: ZAMANI AND TAWA ARE NOW CANON!!!! Also added the names of their cubs, the names of Kitwana's mate and cub, and the names of Merah's mate and cub. And it's no mistake that Kitwana's mate is male - Kitwana is gay, as is his mate, and they end up adopting a little orphaned cub who they name Upendi. Please no LGBT hate on this page. Anything negative towards the LGBT community will be ignored and removed. Thank you.
