Description
Well this is different. Haven't done a fmaily tree thing in ages. Years I think.Well, after Rinja put up smaller more condensed family trees that focus only on this or that lineage with a handful of generations rather then have a big extended one that has everybody, made me think I'd do the same. Make my life easier and hey more content for you all later on. So I decided to test the waters and make a family tree focusing on the lions and lionesses of Simba's reign. None of them have names or really stories (most will only be background characters with a handful of speaking roles) but it gives me a feel for things and figures out how to do this and not do this in the future. And hey I still have in mind whose related to who so might as well share that. This btw was why I got all those designs of various un-named lions and lionesses done so I had something for this.
Anyway, tried to make this simple as possible. Setting up family trees is surprisingly difficult so this took a bit of doing. But think it works and visually looks easy to read (I hope). I won't be adding anything else here (no crowns to trace royal lineage, no halos to trace who is dead and like) just wanted people to get one look at this and get a idea of what and who is related. I figure this is good visual cue and the rest of the details can be found out in stories. I will of course do more of these hopefully so you can see more extended lists that go into greater detail. At least for named characters. A few notes though for reading this.
+ Where the character is placed in terms of height shows age. Older characters are higher up while lower ones are younger or of younger generations. Those born in the same litter are level with each other. Those born in the same year are also level even if not related. Those born a few years before or after are dipped slightly higher or lower. So hopefully that helps with assessing age though I don't have definitive numbers for any of them.
+ A silhouetted character means the indivdual is not designed. Silhouettes with question marks mean they are unknown and will remain unknown with no intention of going back to design them (they are some faceless individual who is a placeholder in other words). Silhouettes with no question mark means the character will be designed and shown one day or they have been designed and for spoilers aren't being shown.
Feel free to give feedback on how this looks and what you'd suggest to make it easier to read. Thanks and God Speed.
