Personality: Dementor is fairly feral, having grown up in the wilderness. He does not trust ponies at all, and sees them as either food or something dangerous. He can speak, but only simple sentences, and he rarely does as he almost never needs too. He’s constantly hungry, though why no one knows; perhaps he’s trying to fill some sort of void in his own soul? All and all, Dementor is a beast ruled by instinct and constant hunger.
Bio: The Dementor was conceived during the Changeling invasion of the Crystal Empire. A Changeling named Scutellum had taken the form of Ruby Riches’ crush, Golden Vas. Tricking her, he fed on her love...and had a bit of “fun” while doing it. Ruby was devistated when it came to light that the “Golden Vas” that was wooing her wasn’t the real one, but rather a Changeling in disguise.
She’s even more distraught when she ends up giving birth to a hybrid monstrosity. As soon as the babe is born, she takes him into the wilderness and leaves him there to die, not even bothering to name him. She just wants to forget this whole Changeling ordeal forever.
The thing is, the foal doesn’t die.
He lives, growing up by devouring the life force of everything around him. He becomes a monster that all living beings fear, especially ponies. He’s always hungry, always on the hunt. Nothing is safe from his hunger. Even the largest creatures tremble in his wake.
He soon makes a name for himself as he leaves the lifeless husks of plants, animals, and ponies alike in his wake, and soon everyone begins calling him...

Oh dear, Queen Chrysalis would have a field day if she ever came upon this grandchild of hers. Since she lost her entire hive and kingdom...I could totally see her being ready to make some use of this little monster.

She might try to use him, but more than likely she'd try to kill him. He's very difficult, if not impossible to control. He does what he wants on his own time, and generally that consists of eating, sleeping, and surviving attacks from ponies trying to kill him, in no particular order.
