Description The family tree for my Oblivion main character, Ciel Arnandre, and some of my other Skyrim characters, including my second main Skyrim character Esme Arnandre, who is the Dragonborn (obviously Kazier does not exists in the same universe as her and the rest of the Arnandre family, of course). As you can see, the family tree is certainly very...interesting, to say the least. I actually had a fan-fiction written out that went through Ciel's journey through Cyrodiil as the Hero of Kvatch and such that would have explained (most) everything. Unfortunately, when my computer died, all I had written on it had disappeared, including Ciel's story. Just my luck, eh? Oh well. Maybe someday I'll write it out again, but for now I'll just explain what I can here. Basically, all you really need to know is that Ciel is gay as hell, made the mistake of hooking up with the Daedric Prince of Madness (and cheese!) after Martin's death, and through magical shenanigans caused by Sheogorath (surprise surprise), they (somehow) managed to produced three powerful and crazy kids. Ciel was not happy to say the least (though he does love his kids dearly).

Tynaard Arnandre - First well known member of the Arnandre line, he is Ciel's and Moreveos's ancestor via their father. A powerful Breton spellsword, he's better known as "the Vestige." The first of the Arnandre line to go head to head with a Daedric Prince and live to tell the tale, he placed the family's name on the map, so to speak. Many coveted his power, and he was a member of many Guilds while he lived, including the Dark Brotherhood, which would later become a tradition amongst his descendants to become members of. He was also the first of the family to run into Sheogorath, Daedric Prince of Madness, and predicted that a descendant of his would be of great value to the Prince in the distant future. He was known to have prophetic dreams and visions, and none have yet to be wrong.

Risica Arnandre (nee Bold-Blood) - Tynaard's wife, she was a strong Nord woman. A member of the Ebonheart Pact and the Dark Brotherhood, she met Tynaard when the Breton saved her life after she fudged a contract. At first she hated him and viewed him as a rival, but eventually came to respect and even admire him after he saved the world from Molag Bal. Admiration eventually gave way to love, and a few years after Molag Bal's defeat, they were wed. She continued to be a member of the Dark Brotherhood for the remainder of her days, and it's said that her and Tynaard's children followed in their parents dark and bloody footsteps, beginning the Arnandre Dark Brotherhood family tradition.

Alester Arnandre - Alester is Ciel's and Moreveos's father, and a descendant of Tynaard Arnandre. Like his ancestor before him, he was a powerful spellsword, as well as a member of the Dark Brotherhood. He raised his two sons to eventually become members themselves, once they came of age, alongside his lover Yvaana. One son, however, was obstinate and did not wish to follow in his parents foots steps simply because of "tradition," while the other son was simply much too soft and shy to be a true killer like them. Alester pushed his sons, however, and eventually one of them -the sweet, gentle Ciel- snapped, killing him and Yvaana while losing his mind in the process.

Yvaana Labien - A beautiful Breton woman who'd just as much help you as stab you in the back with a poisoned knife. She's the one who taught Ciel everything there is to know about Alchemy and sneaking through the shadows. While not as tough on the boys as her lover, she did want the best for her sons, and she believed that becoming members of the Dark Brotherhood would be the best for them. She also believed, however, that Ciel and Moreveos needed to be their own men, and not shadows of their ancestors before them. She died alongside Alester after Ciel snapped for the first time and killed them.

Moreveos Arnandre - The elder of the two Breton Arnandre brothers, he's just as much a hero as his brother, though many tend to forget that fact. After all, he was the Nerevarine. After the death of his parents, Moreveos helped his younger brother escape their home in High Rock to safety. Unfortunately for him, he's caught and arrested for assisting in his brother’s escape, and is taken to the Imperial Prison while his brother remains a wanted criminal. Instead of sentancing him to death, however, King Uriel VII sends him to Morrowind instead to assist the people there. Moreveos travels Morrowind, becoming the member of many Guilds as well as the Morag Tong, and eventually discovers he is the Nerevarine. Not one to back down from a challange, Moreveos fights to save the people of Morrowind, eventually succeeding and becoming a hero.
Unfortunately, Ciel's accomplishments far outshadowed his own, though he doesn't really mind. Moreveos travels around Tamriel, but grows bored of it, and, longing for an adventure, sets sail for Akavir to adventure around in unknown lands. He's never seen nor heard from again after that. He is the second (known) Arnandre to have a run in with Sheogorath before Ciel.

Ciel Arnandre - The younger of the Breton Arnandre brothers, he is the most well known of the Arnandre line since his ancestor Tynaard Arnandre, and for very much the same reason. Mostly known as either "The Hero of Kvatch" or "The Champion of Cyrodiil," Ciel was instrumental in the defeat of Mehrunes Dagon and his Mythic Dawn followers. In fact, had he not found and saved Martin Septim from Kvatch in the first place, Dagon most likely would have destroyed all of Tamriel. He is the only member of the Arnandre family (and quite possibly the only mortal) to have gone up against two Daedric Princes and live to tell the tale. Ciel, however, has a side to him that not many know, and that is that he suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder (or Multiple Personality Disorder). The full brunt of it hit when he was a young teen, after his father pushed him to make his first kill. Unable to handle the pressure, he snapped, killing his parents as well as the innocent they had brought before him. Seeing their corpses caused him to form another "self" to handle the gore and guilt. This "other" him is blood-thirsty, murderous, and insane. Ciel began to travel all across Tamriel in search of a way to rid himself of his split personality. Of course, this eventually led to him getting caught and thrown in jail for his parents murder, which led to the entire plot of Oblivion. But even throughout that entire ordeal, and even afterwords, Ciel continued to search for answers, even going so far as to do the bidding of Daedric Princes and joining the very faction he sought to escape, becoming Listener in the process. Eventually, his research lead him to Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness. However, he only spoke to the Prince briefly, doing a small quest for him (and being mistaken for a girl to boot) before being given the Wabbajak and then ignored afterwords. Convinced Sheogorath was the cause of his split personality, he sought for ways to summon the Prince. But just as he was about to give up, a portal to the Shivering Isles opened up. Ciel wasted no time finding Sheogorath, but instead of getting answers, he got caught up in the whole Shivering Isles quest line, as well as falling for the Daedric Prince of Madness (which as you can predict was a bad idea). Things happen, Ciel fights Jyggalag and wins, and he temporarily becomes the new Sheogorath. However, he is not happy, as he still has not gotten rid of his other personality and on top of that he misses the man he loves, as annoying as he was. But some short years later, Sheogorath returns (though how exactly no one, not even Sheogorath himself, knows), and Ciel happily gives the Mad Prince his throne back, just glad to be reunited with him. However, Ciel's short stint as Sheogorath has left perminant effects on him, such as he no longer ages like a normal mortal, nor can he die from any wounds (at least while he's in the Shivering Isles or around Sheogorath). He is, essentially, an immortal mortal. He currently lives in the Shivering Isles as Sheogorath's consort (Sheo likes to call him his "precious puny mortal" though Ciel prefers to be called "husband"), taking over for him whenever the Prince is out causing mischief.

Soceus Arnandre - Also known as the Fugitive, the Warrior, and the Hero of Ashborne, Soceus is the first and oldest of Sheogorath's and Ciel Arnandre's unholy spawn. Soceus takes the most after Sheogorath in appearance, though he has heterochromia in his eyes with the left eye being gold and the right eye being a sea green, although he sometimes hides the gold eye using magic. Not as much of a spell-caster like his siblings or mortal father, Soceus would much prefer to stab someone with a sword than burn them to the ground with a fire spell. Though, that's not to say he can't if need be, however. He also has the same prophetic dreams his ancestor, Tynaard, has, though not as often. Unlike his siblings, Soceus absolutely despises his Daedric heritage and wants nothing to do with it. As soon as he was old enough, he left the Shivering Isles and began traveling Tamriel, first as a sellsword, then as a Blade, and finally as a member of the Imperial Army. Ironically, Soceus is a devote believer in Akatosh and always carries around a special Amulet of Akatosh on his person, not knowing of his mortal father's connection to the Dragon God of Time. He is a proud member of the Blades, the Imperial Army, and the Dawnguard, and the leader of the Companions in Skyrim. He is also married to Borgakh the Steel Heart and has three children with her, two of which are adopted. Currently he is (reluctantly) helping his younger sister Esme in her quest to save Tamriel from dragons, vampires, and the ancient dragon priests backed by one of their Daedric Prince uncles, as well as stopping the civil war in Skyrim alongside their sibling Thetri.

Thetri Arnandre - They are the second born of Sheogorath's and Ciel's unholy spawn, and the twin of Esme. Thetri was born intersex (born with male and female parts), however, because of their Daedric heritage, they can change their appearance (and sex) at will. So far, Thetri is the only one of the three siblings shown to be able to do this. Usually Thetri appears as a young Breton male with shaggy red hair, a chin goatee, and blue eyes, baring a resemblence to both his grandfather Alester and their Daedric father Sheogorath's red-haired persona. However, that is far from their only appearance. Along with sex, Thetri can change their race, and can be anything from a beautiful Imperial woman to a large, ugly male Orc to a cute little Khajiit kitten. Anything to suit their purpose, they will be, though normally the male Breton look is good enough for most things. Their second favorite appearance, however, is an Argonian woman that they call Sings-of-Nonsense (Sings). Thetri is the peacemaker of the siblings, and often keeps their siblings from killing each other and/or others. They're also very creative, and love to paint as well as play music and sing songs. They often annoy Soceus with their singing and lute playing. They prefer to use magic over weapondry, however they will use a dagger or a bow and arrow if they run out of magika. They also prefer to use non-aggressive spells, prefering to win using wit and cunning rather than might, unlike their sister. They are a member of the College of Winterhold, the Thieves Guild, the Dawnguard, and the Bards College, and are happily married to the Argonian Scouts-Many-Marshes. They are currently traveling with Esme in her quest to save Tamriel from dragons, vampires, and the ancient dragon priests backed by one of their Daedric Prince uncles, as well as stopping the civil war in Skyrim alongside their sibling Soceus.

Esme Arnandre - Esme is the last born of Sheogorath's and Ciel's unholy spawn, and the twin of Thetri. She was blessed by Martin Septim/Akatosh to become the Dragonborn while still in the womb. She takes after her mortal father in appearances, being unusually short like him (even by Breton standards) with shoulder length black hair that she usually puts up in a pony-tail. She does, however, possess her Daedric father's unusual golden, cat-like eyes. While Soceus is stern and stoic, and Thetri is calm and gentle, Esme is rash and head-strong. She never backs down from a fight, and it doesn't take much to piss her off. She tends to butt heads with Soceus the most due to their opposing personalities. Along with her natural Dragonborn abilities, Esme is also a powerful mage, much like her twin, mortal father, uncle, and ancestors. Like her mortal father and uncle, she fights as a spellsword, using powerful spells in one hand while slashing down opponants with the other. Unlike Thetri, Esme prefers all-out offensive spells and thrives on destruction. She loves to watch her opponants burn under her hands, or freeze to death, or be electrocuted. But she can heal just as well as destroy. Esme is a member of the Thieves Guild, the Dawnguard, and is the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood. She and Cicero are currently lovers, mostly because she's the only one who can stand him and visa versa. She's currently traveling all around Skyrim with her siblings, stopping civil wars and fighting dragons, vampires, and dragon priests backed by their Daedric Prince uncle Hermaeus Mora.

Orakh Arnandre - Grandson of the Champion of Cyrodiil and the Daedric Prince of Madness, as well as the nephew of the Dragonborn and the grand-nephew of the Nerevarine, little Orakh has a lot to live up to. But he'll be just as great a hero one day as those who came before him. After all, a new adventure awaits....

Keerei and Neethei Arnandre - Twin Argonian siblings, they are the children of Thetri and Scouts-Many-Marshes.
Thetri turned into their female Argonian persona, Sings-of-Nonsense, in order for the two of them to be conceived. The twins do everything together and are rarely seen apart. The pair of them inherited their part-Daedric parent's love for music, and often preform musical pieces together. Keerei usually will play an instrument, while Neethei will sing. They become adventurers/traveling bards once they're old enough.

Viviri Arnandre - The daughter of the Dragonborn, Esme Arnandre, and her insane lover, Cicero, Viviri takes after both of them. While very foolish and childish like her father, she's also very violent like her mother, inheriting her mother's hair-trigger temper. She finds murder hilarious, and bursts into dance and song at random times. She later joins the Dark Brotherhood when she's old enough, and becomes the Night Mother's new Keeper once her father passes on.

Kalrir "the Dragon" Arnandre - The son of High Queen Elisif the Fair and Soceus Arnandre, he is the last born of the Champion of Cyrodiil's and the Mad God's grandchildren. Born a few years after the birth of Viviri and the death of Soceus's first wife, the Orc woman Borgakh the Steel Heart, Kalrir is born out of both necessity and budding love. Elisif, being completely mortal, grows older by the day, and though she does not wish to take on another husband after the death of her first love, High King Torygg, she knows she must. She needs to produce an heir. So, she chooses Soceus, a man who she trusts with her life. They marry and produce Kalrir, and it is through raising Kalrir that the two grow to love each other. Kalrir himself is trained -much like others of the Arnandre line- to be a powerful Spellsword by his father and his father's siblings. He takes the throne of Skyrim and becomes High King as a young man during a very dangerous time for the Empire, for they soon enter war with the Thalmor once more. He fights in the war alongside the rest of Skyrim, fighting for his country and the Empire, and it's partially thanks to him that the war is won. When the Mede lineage is wiped out by the Thalmor during the war, the Elder Counsil elects to put Kalrir on the Ruby Throne, in part due to his part in the war and due to the fact that he is the nephew of the Dragonborn. And thus starts the long reign of the Arnandre Dynasty...
