Description
I simply stared at the wall of glowing text.Stunned into silence by miles of glowing text.
The wall itself could not be seen,
but its presence was quite obvious,
in the way it distorted the world behind it.
Words engraved in a sky that rippled and moved.
Gold and orange air molded into a foreign tongue.
Words never written, but spoken into being.
With a definite start,
and becoming longer with each passing thought.
I would have walked around the wall to view from all angles,
but as roots crawl through rock,
my feet sunk into the planet.
Staring closely one word at a time,
I began to notice the different colors.
Moments with my soul showing through,
and others distinct with anger.
Calm and horrid, terrible and honest,
not recognized as words themselves,
but only in their color.
Then this wall from earth to open sky,
began to pinch, twist, and fade from view.
Later staring through the glass of every day,
alone beside one cup and black coffee,
I wrote about the day i met,
the wall of all the words,
I had ever said.

oh, this was great...i like this one better than the autumn one... more pronounced.. not so forced by rhyming, it seems like an aura on a page
