Description
My entry for the June Friend Off. Based on "Today, Tomorrow, and Forever" by Choppers Top Hat. [link] I was going to do something based on Carousel Boutique Expansion Project, but I doubt I would have been able to convince myself to finish it; at least, not by the deadline.This was probably the scene that clicked with me the most. Something about the way she says she "can't be normal" really struck a chord with me. I didn't want to do the poem, because there's already an amazing image for that on the fic's EqD page.
Edited to tweak a few details; specifically, I forgot the cutie mark and the line in her ear, and I didn't like how her muzzle looked.

The fic this pic was based off of made my eyes water when I first read it. Which means it was pretty damn good.
Great to see a little something based off of this story for the friend off, I was expecting you to make a picture for 'The mail must get through' to be honest.

sadness brought to a whole other level that i cannot fathom. a scene that feels like you never want the two to separate from hooves. a scene that strikes a match that ones self to just lose all the tears from ones eyes.
this art speaks volumes that the fanfic could only begin to describe. and that is just...fantastic...really.

To be brutally honest, I've never cared for when someone writes an "alternative happier ending" to someone else's sadfic. It ruins the impact, and it screams "I DON'T WANT TO FEEL EMOTION" to me.
