Description my first aiko submission was indeed a wallpaer - or was intended as such - but a) i didn't know it had to be certain dimensions and b) who are we kidding? i didn't know the wallpaper section existed. however i designed this second wallpaper as well. it's not as good as the first, i think, but it has its own flair.

note that some elements here are not my original design. thus i place these credits:

DAZ Productions - for aiko herself, and the program to render with
Kandace M. Wright - the original pose this one was derived from (some significant modifications to it though)
Eldritch - the djinni clothes which comprise aiko's top and pants
Jessica Green - the fashion top aiko wears underneath the djinni top
Vampir3Princess and Lesthat - the necklace and bracelet

the comparison side-by-side with the other submission is obvious, and the other one wins. in the future i'd like to make better desktops - not just with aiko, but other DAZ characters and perhaps others. so i want to know WHAT WORKS HERE, and WHAT SUCKS HERE, and i'll take any opinions i can get.

*EDIT* i just realized how subtle the emotions can really be with pieces like this. the original had a sense of whimsy because aiko's eyes weren't looking directly at the camera, but because she was still looking over in the camera's general direction it gave that kind of "something's more interesting over your shoulder" look and i was not fond of that. so i said "screw whimsy" and realigned her eyes. i also noticed some nostril issues, but i couldn't fix those. in trying, however, i acquired v2.0 of the wallpaper.
i think the new emotion prtrayed borderlines innocence or flirtatiousness, but i bet there are people out there thinking differently. and others thinking i'm insane.
i added a small shine to the face area. dunno how that's gonna be received.
and that's it. now on to other stuff.
*END EDIT*

*EDIT TWO*
it was called "wallpapaer." wallpapaer! mother$%@#ing typos. well we're gonna fix that. from now on, it's "aiko desktop 2 v1.5."

The skeleton frame stretches her head out oddly a bit when she tilts it, I see.
xD
Sorry, I pick those things out pretty fast when I see 3D stuff.

no sorry at all, the feedback's nice. :3

that could be beacuse i only have Aiko LE. maybe the standard edition doesn't do that. or maybe it does. iunno. but i don't think it's my fault directly.

regardless, it's my responsibility ta fix it, and i'll make sure ta do just that in the future. owo

thanks muchly for the comment. ^w^
