created more or less because i told that if she drew a chibi, i'd draw a chibi.haven't seen hers JUST yet, but i'm patient. 'sides, the pic is pretty damn awesome with or without a counterpart.
muchly enjoyed the shading and background, neither of which were done with any pencil assistance whatsoever. i swiped my pen for every inch of it. no guides, no worries, no cares...just swipe, swipe, swipe. and i'm really quite porud of how it turned out, considering. now i DID do the chibi guy in pencil and then inked him over, but that was long before the background existed anyway. hell, i didn't even know i was doin a background until i started doin it.
oooo improvement. loves it.
under close scrutiny the ink shading looks a little unusual. imagine he's in an enchanted field where all the grass blows the EXACT same way. shaddap, i'm learnin.
as for a WHO and a WHY, don't bother. i can't answer either, and don't know if i care to. i've got enough in the way of characters to deal with right now. however, if anybody's got an incredible idea - i mean DAMN incredible - i'm all ears. well, all ears and other random body parts. like limbs.
"sun" thing added. color ditto. wanted it to look like it was done on old paper...don't ask me why. dunno. duncare.
*colors and sun flare added in the GIMP.
*everything else done with good old pigment liners. awesome tools they be.

what is a b/w drawing but many, many lines? as long as they look good everything else can't suck :3

Awesome work. I like that the lines gives a sense of movement. The tone is well done, although the lines next to the outline of the bottom part of the mountain can even go blacker and the outline at the top lighter.
The sun is my favourite part of the picture. It draws you in. The chibi looks cool and composition wise, he is at the perfect position.

i guess he's in a good spot cause everythin else got haphazardly built around him. hard to not be a centerpiece when you're in the center of a page X3
kinda seems like a big wind or somethin ta me, far as movement. but that wouldn't explain why the chibi's hair doesn't fly with it.
ah well, if cloud's hair can defy gravity...maybe it's a big sword-big hair relationship.
will take that idea on the mountains with the next inking job; i was thinking about doin it for this one but meh hand was about to rebel >.>;
