Maxie is a fun-loving, energetic, mischievous cat who absolutely loves to play with others. He's very talkative and can speak for hours without running out of things to say. He gets shy around either cats that he doesn't like, or cats that he really likes. His favourite thing to do is to play 'tag' with his friends, in which he hits them and runs as fast as he can away from them.

Mazzie was resting her legs at the edge of an alley, looking to see if any other cats were here. "helloooooo~?" she called.

Maxie skipped his way along the alley, humming a cheery tune to himself when he heard the voice. "Helloooo!" he responded cheerfully. He had a goofy smile on his face as he appeared to face the cat he'd never seen before. "Are we playing a game with echoes where I repeat what you say?" he asked her, looking into her eyes. "If so, I'm great at that game!"

"if that's a game, sure we can play! who echos?" she mewed, glad to play a game

"Who echoes?" he repeated, his goofy smile growing bigger, answering her question.

She thinks of something to make this new cat say. "You are the most awesome cat ever!"

"You are the most awesome cat ever!" he says, sticking his soft tongue at her for a moment. He sat down to get a little more comfortable

She sticks her tongue out back and says "i'm a poopy face!"

Maxie made a fake pouty face, and responded, "I'm a poopy face!" He stuck his tongue out again, attempting to make her laugh.

She giggled at the tom and said "I'm awesome!"

He giggled as well, copying her once again. "I'm awesome!" He stood up again.

She grinned and took a few steps towards the alley edge, calling "I'm the best cat EVER!"

His goofy smile returned, bigger than ever as he puffed out his chest and pretended to be all proud of himself. "I'm the best cat EVER!" he called out, grinning and walking like a showboat before tripping on his own paws and stumbling. "Oops." he mumbled, chuckling as he shook his fur out.

She smiled and called, "so What's your name, Mr. kitty?"

He laughed and was tempted to repeat her, but decided to give her a real answer. "I'm Maxie!" he said proudly. "You can call me Max if it's easier, but some people call me Maximoo, 'cause it's cute! What's your name?"

"My name's Mazzie! you can call me Maz for short" she introduced. "So, what do you like to do?"

He smiled. "Nice name!" he responded. "I love to play games! It's the best thing in the world! Especially tag with sleeping cats, because you always win by the time they wake up!" He giggled. "Tag with awake cats has more action though. So, what do you like to do?"

She took another step out, saying "i love to...". She then bolted, yelling "RUN!"

"Hey! Wait a sec!" he shouted after her. "If you're trying to play tag, you didn't hit me first!" He started to dart after her. "If you're just running, we can run together!"

"YEP!i'M JUST RUNNING!" she called, letting her paws take her away. She runs all day, every day, so she was very fast and was far past Max already.

Maz was much faster than him, but he tried to catch up anyway. He ran as fast as his paws could take him, but he was still a decent distance away from her. "I-I'll get ya!" he huffed, trying to run faster. He was usually the fastest cat among his friends, but he could tell she was very fit and used to this.

She giggled and called over her shoulder, "Yeah right!" and made a smooth turn, now heading for a nearby lake. When she got there, she made a leap in, bobbing back up quickly

Maxie watched her moves, and turned at the spot she had, not as smoothly as her. He was huffing, but saw her head sticking out of the lake and gave a goofy smile as he backed up, and leaped in along side her.

She swam around a bit and mewed "wasn't that fun? a nice run is always good!"

He nodded, a big smile on his face and spat out some water in his mouth. "You bet!" he responded. "I haven't had a nice run with anyone in a long time!" His fur started to get into his eyes, so he shook his head, attempting to move the fur from his eyes.

She grins, "i love running! i run all day, every day!"

He laughs. "That's great! I like to run if I'm playing with my friends, or hanging with my friends. It makes me a happy kitty." He made a fake purring sound with a goofy smirk.

She giggled, "really? cause you seem a bit slow..."

He nodded again, laughing. "It's just because you're so fast." he said. "I'm a decent speed, but you're like a cheetah!" He raised his paws in exaggeration to show what he meant.

"naw, you could be faster than me if you tried!" she said, glancing at his tail.

He looked at what she was looking at, and his ears flickered slightly. "I guess so, my tail's tiny, so I'm a little more aerodynamic, but you have more stamina and strength than I do." He smiled at her. "Sometimes I wish I had a long, pretty tail like yours, but my tiny one has its uses."

"no, those S's are just from the runnin'. And i don't even have the prettiest tail either. i would give anything for a tail like yours! Wait, scratch that, almost anything" she rambled, not even tiring from the constant paddling

He smiled. "You'd really give almost anything for this tiny thing?" he asked, tilting his head slightly. "I'd give almost anything for your tail!" His ears flicked slightly, flinging a drop of water away.

She laughed, "too bad we can't trade!"

He laughed as well. "Yeah! Too bad they don't come off easily!"

"and your tail is pretty too " she mewed

He laughed and paddled in a circle around her. "Thank you!" he responded. "We have pretty tails together!"

She pulled her tail out of the water and unintentionally splashes the Tom and said “all the pretty tails”

Maxie flinched as the water got in his eyes and laughed. "Yeah!" he said. He swam to a shallow part where his paws could reach the ground and shook his butt at her to shake his tail, a smirk on his face before he turned to face her again.

“I don't think you realize you're shaking more than just your tail at me ” she teased

He stuck out his tongue. "If you've got it, flaunt it." he teased, turning around and shaking his butt once more before jumping back in.

She laughed and shook her booty under the water

He stuck his head under the water and popped up right next to her. "Are we friends now?" he asked her, smiling. "I don't have a whole bunch of friends." He flipped to his back and floated on it beside her, paddling lazily near her.

“what? That can't be right! Your one of the friendliest cats I've ever met!” she exclaimed, letting out a loud purr
(I think this might be an even better ship for Maz then with Ipeksi X3)

He had a big smile, and was a little embarrassed, but happy. "You really mean it?" he asked, looking at her. "That means a lot to me!" He flipped back onto his stomach to look at her better. "You're a really nice cat too!" he responded. "You're great company!"
(XD Well, their names sound very similar. It was fate.
