Maxie is a fun-loving, energetic, mischievous cat who absolutely loves to play with others. He's very talkative and can speak for hours without running out of things to say. He gets shy around either cats that he doesn't like, or cats that he really likes. His favourite thing to do is to play 'tag' with his friends, in which he hits them and runs as fast as he can away from them.

Maxie shook his head, flinging some water around. "No way!" he said. "I think it's really cool how you're so fast! Lots of cats like to have friends that like to run. Like me!" He gave another goofy smile to her.
(Yep! XD Even one of their nicknames are only one letter apart! Maz and Max!)

He laughed and nodded. He then bobbed his up and down, in and out of the water, saying the word, "Blub!" every time he poked his head out of the water, then paused and said, "I'm a fish!" with a goofy look on his face before continuing, trying to make her laugh again.

Maz laughed, having to paddle to shore so she wouldn't be in danger if she stopped swimming. "your so *gasp* funny!" she mewed.

Maxie laughed and decided to follow her, as his legs started to get a bit sore. He got back to the place he had been standing when her shook his tail at her, and he yawned. "I guess I'm not so fit." he joked. "All that running and swimming made me really tired for some reason." He walked a little bit more out of the water and lied down, making sure the water didn't cover his head.

She smiled, nodding. She gave a small stretch, her tail landing over Max's.

He smiled back at her, yawning again. He blushed when her tail landed on his. "I don't swim very often, but it's really fun." he mumbled, rambling to keep their conversation up a bit. "It's pretty tiring, however. What do you think about it?"

"Oh, it's fun until you get tired, and great on a hot day" she said. She tried to hide it, but she was staring at Max

He nodded, listening to her and rested his head on his paws, tilting it to look at Maz as she looked at him. "Agreed." he said, yawning once again before chuckling nervously. "Sorry for yawning so much. I must just be really tired."

He nodded. "It's a really nice day." he said with a smile.

She made a small yawn and laid her head down on her paws. "I had a great day with you" she mumbled, hoping he didn't get the wrong message.

"Me too!" he said. "It was nice, just swimming for a change with a new friend." He yawned and put his head on his paws, closing his eyes.

She began to stir in her sleep, waking up. For a moment she was confused on why she was sleeping next to a tom by a lake.
we just need to be in the group for a week and then have three pieces of art of the two of them (can be by anyone to qualify) XP

The sunlight got in Max's eyes, causing him to wake up. He yawned and stretched. "Morning." he mumbled. "I guess we fell asleep on the shore." He chuckled nervously, shaking his fur out.

She got up, nodding shakily. 'Asleep next to a tom... a cute one at that... what a surprise' she thought as she gave her chest fluff a few embarrassed licks

He tilted his head. "You did?" he asked. "Funny, I had a pretty great dream too!" He didn't mention what his dream was about, however. "Maybe they were the same dream!" he joked.

He blushed nervously. He didn't know if he should tell her... but he wanted to tell her. "Um.. well, it was about you!" he said, his smile staying on his face. "What about you?"

She giggled and stepped to the side a bit, Running her plumed tail over his muzzle. "Must be~" she said, a hint of a purr in her tone.

"daw, why thanks~ your tail's all cute and tiny, not to mention great for runnin' " she let out a purr and pulled her tail back to her, brushing her plume over his bob-tail in the process

He blinked, his blush returning. He smiled nervously and nudged his head against her. "We've only known each other for a short while..." he mumbled. "But.. I love you too."

She lets out a sigh of relief as well as a nervous chuckle. "my momma always said that when i found true love, i would know. believe me, with every hair on my pelt, i know." she mutters, giving her love's cheek a lick.

He chuckled, nuzzling his head against Maz, giving her cheek a quick lick back. "My mom always said that if I found someone who I love, I should never let her go, and I should treat her well." He smiled and laughed. "I'll listen to her words."
