My mother and I had this same problem when I was growing up. lol
So Queen Elinor is doing her best to tame that wild mane of Merida's. As you can see it doesn't work.

Awe how cute! And my ma and I had that problem too once she brushed out all my curls and told me to and eventually my hair then went from curly to wavy to straight yet frizzy and eventually it just went back to curly- It was a weird cycle
