Description A detail of my "Bast" painting. I just wanted to show a close-up of her face and the cat she is holding.

Would there be any chance of getting this at a higher resolution, a larger size? Or would the image begin to deteriorate and such close detail on the computer screen? If you don't object, I would enjoy this as my personal computer's desktop, but with the size of this detail image at the moment I would choose the full sized art for display.

I'm not sure if I deleted the original image after I formatted it or not, but I'll see what I can do.

you painted this? Man your good! I like how the cat's collar and Bast's necklace are the same. It really shows us the connection between her and the cats

Thanks very much! I gave bast and the cat similar features to show that they are one and the same.

Interesting that you chose to depict her as masked rather than genuinely cat-headed.

I think the appearances of the Gods would shift and change like smoke, especially those that are associated with animal totems. I thought for a while about how I would see Bast, and I chose the masked incarnation, holding her cat-self. I hope you like my interpretation as well!
