Thanks! There are inexpensive watercolors, like Grumbacher or other student grade paints that would be good to practice with. You can do a lot with only red, yellow and blue paints and add more gradually. That's how I did it at first, and it's probably the least expensive way.

Isis, the Goddess of Magic, Mother of the King, Protector of the Dead, the only God/Goddess to know the Secret Name of Ra/Re. Beautifully portrayed!! It is the hand of a magician that you captured her beauty and grace.

Okay, I'll stop now...I got a little too philisophical. Sorry! I love Egypt and all of its wonders. My favorite stories are those from Egypt, I can tell you the story of Exodus without looking in the Bible...sorry, will shut up now.

Thanks! I purposely made the background a bit low-key to draw attention to the figure, but it's much brighter in the original. I love that shade of green.
