I realize that Athena has a huge place in Mythology and in many ways is respected, but I just can't forgive her for what happened to Medusa.Β Athena, little Ms. "I-Turn-Rape-Victims-Into-Horrifying-Monsters."Β And yes, I'm aware of the version of the mythΒ where it was consensual, so don't bring that up.Β Not to mention what happened with Arachne.Β Killing a girl all because she pointed out the flaws of the gods, and then having the nerve to bring her back to life, only to turn her into a spider.Β Faulty wisdom is all I'm saying.

Absolutely stunning. I am a serious Athena fan, and have seen my fair share of drawings and pictures created in her image, but this is definitely one of my favorites. Best version of Athena's shield I've ever seen. Very well done.
