Well if Lucas was the Masked Man and Claus was the main hero of Mother 3, Claus wouldn't have been able to hurt Lucas either, so really it doesn't make a difference whoever was on Porky's side, cause either way, the one not being controlled wouldn't hurt the one working for the Pig mask army.
