EDIT NUMBER TWO: YAY I MADE THE MOON EVER BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS EDIT! BASK IN ITS AWESOMENESS!! Also, my computer works again but it doesn't have internet :cEDIT: As you can see, I've made the moon look 10x more awesome! Feedback please! GIMP is being a nightmare on Ubuntu right now, so I'm sorry that the craters aren't up to maximum details ):

This is a little fanart of my nether portal in the game MineCraft. It's like four portals put together into like a cuboid-shape, and is pretty stunning, and felt the urge to draw it. It's a portal that would make Israphel proud ^_^
Damn this looks like something from the login page of WoW lol *only played the trial once and didn't enjoy it*
In minecraft the nether portal is made of obsidian, and going through it transports you to the dimension of the nether, full of lava pools, flaming rocks, and strange creatures that fly shooting fireballs at you and zombie pigmen. It is essentially designed to be hell.
This has to be by far the best picture i've done with the tablet so far, and i'm proud of it!

This has a really nice perspective and great shading on the nearest column. The moon bothers me a little because it's not round and it feels like it should be because the rest of the drawing is so exact. ^^ FAB.

Yeaah, I've had so much difficulties with the moon. ;_; I've never been fond of using tools in my disposition, because I feel it's cheating.. but maybe I should play around some more and fix that dang satellite once and for all!

If you are using photoshop to colour, use the elliptical marquee tool. hold the shift button and it'll be a perfect circle.

I used Gimp to colour =/ But I do have an elliptical selection tool, I'll play around with it ^_^

The detail is pretty awesome! (I think I feel like playing minecraft now haha)
You used GIMP, eh? Cool... I've never gotten the hang of GIMP. So I use SAI. Though I do like a few of the tools in GIMP..

Lol, unfortuneately, no. They take you to like this hellish landscape full of fire and lava pits. In the series 'Shadow of Israphel' by the Yogscast however, the portals send the characters to the future, hence the appearence of computers and machinery in the episode where they travel to the nether.

Love it, love the portal effects, high res size(The moon is too smudgy though, make it a little edgy personally) and the Obsidian really looks rocky and bumpy! Really nice!
