Finally! About time I finished the much awaited Stormfly! I got held up a bit by RL stuff, with school around the corner things are getting a bit hectic! Stormy was fun to draw, she's such a colourful dragon, and she's my favourite of all the dragon species! Woohoo!Only 3 more HTTYD1 dragons left to draw! Which one shall I do next? Terrible Terror, Red Death, or Meatlug? You decide!
So far I got two votes for the Terrible Terror

Yeah that was weird... Maybe it's a dragon-translatable thing, like scratching dragons under the chin makes them faint with bliss.
Remember in the series Snotlout touched Stormfly behind the head and discovered a super-accurate spine-shot skill that Astrid didn't know about. So it could be like that?

If I had any influence on the movie I would make sure that Stoick and the snowy Bewilderbeast would not die, crippled at most.

Nah, I think it was a good plot element. Without a father figure to rely on anymore, Hiccup has to grow up and take responsibility, and become chief. It's a story about becoming a Hero the Hard Way

That may be true but it is also to heartbreaking, I actually cried when I saw it, and I NEVER cry about ANYTHING, even the death of my pet rabbit didn't make me cry as much so just imagine how others feel, especially the children.
