Toon Origins part 1: A Little Boy's Abandoned Creations

Circe Pitaberry: Greetings, dear viewers! I am Circe Pitaberry, the toon pig girl; 32 years old overall, but forever 10 as a toon! You know, we toons have been around a long time, and we have always existed with a single purpose: to entertain you, and make you laugh. Such is our existence.

Circelet George: I'll admit, I was scared at first, knowing I wasn't real, but as long as people out there care enough to view us and read our stories, then we have nothing to worry about. Hee-hee!

Circelet Kari: Yeah, and besides, I like being a little winged toon piglet so much that I don't miss my life as an adult human woman at all! Go on, Mommy Circe! Please tell these nice people the story!

Circe Pitaberry: Sure thing, my little ones. Now let's travel back in time; the year was 1930. This, as many of you who took History classes know, was the time of The Great Depression , but at the same time, it was also near the start of The Golden Age of American Animation. This is when our earliest ancestors were drawn and brought to life on the silver screen. Granted, these toons were not alive at all - they were only lifeless constucts given motion by animators, and voiced by humans. Still, we owe them a great deal, because it's thanks to them that OUR kind, LIVING toons, came into being! I'd name some of them, but . . . I don't want us getting sued. You can probably guess them on your own anyway.

Circe Pitaberry: Here is where we meet a little 4-year-old boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. His name was Michaelangelo Davinci, but most people just called him Mikey. While I realise that past accounts of his life have been told by Fudgilla and Duke Nightmare in previous deviations, they ommited certain facts, and twisted the truth to their own likings , but don't worry - I promise to give you the honest truth of his life.

Circelet George: It should be noted that there have been debates over whether or not Mikey was a direct decendant of the famous artist Leonardo Davinci, but no proof of any direct lineage has ever been found.

Circelet Kari: Not that it makes much of a difference, as Mikey was a good artist in this own right.

Circe Pitaberry: Indeed, little Kari. True enough, Mikey was a child prodigy with an I.Q. of 180. While most 4-year-olds were still learning how to count, he could already multiply and divide. He took after his father, who was a scientist who helped develop Little Boy and Fat Man. -_- As unpleasant as they were, these bombs would later help shape our race, and contribute partually to our population, but I'll get to that in a later part of our tale.

Circe Pitaberry: Young Mikey was an exceptional artist, and inspired by any animated features he had the money to go see, he was a big fan of monsters, and so he painted these 4 monster faces you see above: a black wolf, a magenta dragon, a green spider, and a blue bat, but when he showed it to his friend Annie (who was roughly the same age as him), she screamed and ran away, being terrified of these monsterous faces. Feeling shame because he never intended to scare her, he crumbled up his painting and threw it away.

Circelet George: In our story multiverse, certain actions in one universe will have an impact on something in another universe no matter how small.

Circelet Kari: For example, in one universe someone makes a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich, which causes a luxury wheat condo to be built to house sentient peanuts and grapes in another universe!

Circe Pitaberry: And if your human mind can grasp that concept, then it shouldn't be so strange that Mikey's rash action of throwing his art away in the prime universe of our story resulted in the Primal Toon Kaijus being forged into existance in an alternate universe where there is nothing but darkness. In this darkness, they grew to resent their creator Mikey for discarding them into the black void, and they named themselves: The Black Wolf named himself Nightmaraster, and because he realised his sentience first, made himself their leader/ The Magenta Dragon named herself Jezebeldam, The Green Spider named herself Aracnasty, and the blue bat named herself Myotemptress. They all swore revenge on Mikey for throwing them away, while the innocent little boy genius remained blissfully unaware, and was already at work on his next art project to make up with Annie for accidentally scaring her earlier.
